NEW LOCATION

Route 1, South Kingstown, RI

     In 2006 Clark Farms had been in negotiations to purchase a portion of one of South County’s oldest farms.  The decision to make the purchase was as much a part of Richard Clark’s passion to the industry as it was to build a state-of-the-art greenhouse.  It came as a great relief to neighboring property owners and many southern Rhode Islanders that Clark Farms purchase the property and not a construction developer. 

The property had long since been utilized for farming and in order to return it to its original use many improvements are needed. To date, plans have been drawn, permits applied for and approved, a driveway has been established and a greenhouse built.  The electric has been lead in and drilling for well water is in process.  

The greenhouse will be arguably the largest of its kind in Rhode Island and we hope to start utilizing it before the end of the summer.  With this new facility Clark Farms will not only continue its high quality of product but also be able to increase the varieties and quantities.     We hope to have the new location available to our customers for large volume purchases for next summer.  Stay tuned!
