Family Fun

Our Farm Park is one of the best parts of Clark Farms! Along with having one of the biggest greenhouses in the state, a full service nursery and a professional landscape and installation division, we also host two highly sought-after family oriented events right here at the farm.

Family Fun at the Farm

During the summer, our Sunflower Stroll (late July/early August) offers a truly unique and memorable experience! It is easy to let your cares slip away while strolling through the slow, winding paths cut through our acres of sunflowers. And you won’t want to miss our famous corn maze during the fall months (Mid-September thru October)! From getting lost in the maze to kicking back on a serene hayride through the Matunuck countryside, you and your family are guaranteed to have a blast!

Mid to late Summer in between the Sunflower Stroll and Fall Fest we keep our farm park open with many activities for kids and families – hop dots, our brand-new butterfly house, farm animals, our giant mountain slide and mine, farm bball, and more! Tickets to enter our farm park will become available for purchase at our greenhouse once the park is open.

Come on down to the farm and spend a day in the country, creating memories with your family at the corn maze that Yankee Magazine named “Best in New England”. Get a taste of the fun.

Dogs are not allowed in our Farm Park for the safety of all animals (service animals are an exception). We DO allow dogs in our garden center and retail space, just not the park area because of the farm animals.

Corn Maze

Our giant corn maze is a New England family favorite! This year our theme is Wild West Adventure! Our maze is guaranteed fun for all ages. It includes an educational scavenger hunt that is best suited for children 5-15 years old. And don’t worry, you can download a map straight to your phone to help you through the maze! Load up the family and head on down to Matunuck for an unforgettable weekend adventure!

No New England autumn is complete without a hayride! After escaping the maze, hop on board one of our hayrides touring the quiet, Matunuck countryside. No need to rush through the maze, hayrides leave regularly all day long. Please note that hayrides run exclusively on the weekends.

We have some furry friends down here at the farm that we’d like you to meet… and they would love to meet you, too! Be sure to pay a visit to Tito and Seed (the donkeys), and Magnolia and Sunflower (the goats). They are always happy to have visitors!

The Beeline Zipline is back! The Beeline is a great thrill for so many of our young maze goers, whether they are challenging their friends to a race or just enjoying the ride. It’s one attraction that they will want to go back to again and again! Please note that the Beeline Zipline is available exclusively on the weekends.

Clark Farms has struck it rich! Who will be next? The mine at Maze Mountain is a little extra taste of mystery and adventure for the kids. Grab a bag of mining rough, priced accordingly to size, and experience the excitement of panning for your very own treasure!

The only people who love a good ol’ fashioned race more than kids are their parents. So hop on a pedal powered go-kart, line up at the start, and race away! We have varying sized go-karts for all ages. Who will be first?

Family fun means fun for the entire family, even the smallest of the bunch. The young ones always have a blast with these attractions! Our Hop Dots game is a great easy activity for the kids. Jump from stone to stone and try to find a safe path across. Our mini Straw Maze gives the little ones a sense of adventure while keeping them under the watchful eye of their parents.

We created two large beds for plantings around our patio. We needed 300+ square feet of plantings. An employee named Ellen asked if we needed help as we were perusing. Ellen was extremely knowledgeable. She proceeded to help us choose the best varieties based on our preferences for height, shape, color, etc. We left with a clear plan without a landscape architecture fee. Thank you, Ellen!

Beautiful farm and family friendly - great local produce and superb selection of plants.
I purchased fresh corn today, which picked this morning at 9am, and it's local blueberry 🫐 season + we walked the sunflower 🌻 fields.

Highly recommend!

Clark Farms is one of the best places in Rhode Island to find quality plants and landscaping materials. The staff is knowledgeable and the selection is impressive.

As a contractor working on residential projects in the area, having reliable suppliers like this makes a big difference when planning outdoor spaces and home upgrades. Highly recommended.

Must visit for families! For $10 per person 3 and over, there are a lot of fun things to explore. We visited during the sunflower maze (gorgeous), picked wildflowers, fed the goats and donkeys, went down the slide many times and loved the big sandpit. What a local gem

Wow! I was here today and so many native plants! Thank you for carrying them-unfortunately, its hard to find natives and our pollinators and birds need them! Thanks again.

Thanks Sue! We try to make it easy! We just like selling plants that succeed in our neighborhood. Thanks again.

We visited on Labor Day and for the Fall Fest in October. Both times we had so much fun. There is so much to do and see and the staff really think of everything. We drive 2 hours from CT and will continue to come back. No complaints.

Wow. What a great find. We have two young kiddos, 1 and 4, and we got two great hours. We were one of four families there, so it was perfect vibe for us. We went on a Friday afternoon, after a morning Beach and nap time. Paddle go carts, and slide were the favorite. Goats were hilarious screaming every niow and then. Donkeys came out for three minutes, then went back into their shed, kids liked them more than the goats. They have quarter machines to feed the animals. The week before, had heavy rain from tropical system Debby, so the corn fields weren't accessible, and they had to harvest the sunflowers, so we didn't get use/see that, which was a bummer for the wife and I.
Once we were done we walked around the beautiful garden. Prices for plants were not bad either, maybe a bit more than big box store, but much better quality here.

Fun time in the Fall for the family. The corn maze was nicely designed and actually somewhat difficult. The lines on other activities were long which is to be expected. The potato gun activity (shooting a corn cob) and the zip line were also fun. Everything else seemed meh. The tricycle around the track was downright bad... It was unmoderated so some kids were not getting off and parents just sat there. Pumpkin photo opportunities were good though.

Super fun for kids !! It costs $16 per person which is reasonable for unlimited fun activities on the farm. I believe it's cash only but I'm not 100% sure. I know you can pre-order tickets online. I would definitely go back again.
